Goodbye Grenada

We woke up to a beautiful morning on our last day here in Grenada. The bay was prettier than ever, the clouds were arranged nicely and the breeze was also just right (that was at 7am, now it’s hot as hell).

We’ve had a great 3+ weeks here, which was enough time to become locals at a few restaurants, learn the bus system and learn where to get the good fruits, but we still have no better chance of understanding people when they speak english.

Some of the highlights of the last week include a kayak to a deserted bay on the calmest day, delicious dinners at La Sagesse, a jungle hike to Concord Falls, morning and sunset swims, regular old day-day life in Grenada, reading books and a nice trip to St. Rose nursery where we found a beautiful orchid for Mike and a bougainvillea for Wendy. We’re a little nervous that we may die of heat in Leon, Nicaragua, but otherwise we’re excited for the next destination.
